Facilities:

1. The program is very intensive in nature and runs for a full 12 months, full-time.

2. Multi-disciplinary is design, the program emphasizes development of the following public health competencies: epidemiology, biostatistics, medical anthropology, health systems management, health economics and health care financing, health communication, public health nutrition, demography, reproductive health, aging and non-communicable diseases.

Fees:

1. Total cost is 12 lakhs (approx.) per students, which includes tuition, food & accommodation, and other costs

2. Bangladeshi candidates will receive financial aid amounting  to 90% of the total cost. The aid may be increased in case of students in financial hardships.

Admission Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's/Masters degree (at least16 years of education) in Medicine, Nursing, or any physical, biological or social sciences. Excellent academic records with no third division or GPA of less than 3.0 out of 4

2. Proficiency in English (written and spoken): A minimum TOEFL score of 250 on computer-based test or IELTS of 6.5 in desirable

3. At least 2 years experience in health related work

4. Computer literacy is must, skill in using data analysis software will be an advantage

5. Candidates must also attend: i) a written test (in Logical Reasoning, Basic Arithmetic, General Knowledge and English), ii) Group interview and iii) Individual interview

1. Full Tuition fee waiver for one year for the following category

# GPA 4.75 in SSC (without 4th subject) and 4.80 in HSC (Science)

# 5 'A's in O-Level and 2 'A's in A-Level

# 1750 in SAT and 213 in TOEFL or 5.5 in IELTS (with no sub score below 5.0)

2. Tuition waiver for top students in each departments based on admission test results.

3. Tuition waiver at different rates for students with CGPA 3.5 or more at BRAC University

4. 25% tuition waiver for Economics, English, and Physics students.

5. Tk. 500 per credit tuition waiver to female students.

6. BRAC-FORD Scholarship: Full tuition waiver, living and book allowance for meritorious students with financial needs.

7. Parents with two children at BRAC University, 50% to 70% tuition waiver for the second child.

Admission Requirements:

# B.Sc. honors degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/

Zoology/Fisheries/Agriculture/any other

relevant subject or an M.B.B.S degree will be eligible for admission. They must have a minimum of CGPA of 2.0/Second class at the Bachelor's level and second divisions/GPA 2.5 in S.S.C and H.S.C examinations. O-level in five subjects & A-level in two subjects with a GPA of 2.0 or above (according to BU conversion scale: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1) are acceptable. Candidates having more than one E need not apply.
